Three men have been found guilty after a cannabis grow was discovered on a residential street in Motherwell .

Police raided an address on Talisman Crescent on Friday, September 6, discovering a cannabis cultivation worth around £120,000.

A week later, on September 12, Hoan Cong Vuong, 51, Nguyen Tien Dung, 39, and Van Tuaw Nguyen, 30, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court. All were found guilty for their parts in the cultivation.

Inspector Jim McLuskey said: “Cannabis cultivations can be linked to organised crime, violence and exploitation. We hope this outcome reassures the public that we will continue to pursue those who profit from drugs at the expense of our communities.
