Sprout Organics recalls some baby food for potential elevated levels of lead

(CNN) - Sprout Organics is recalling one lot of its baby food pouches because they could be contaminated with elevated levels of lead.

The recall affects 3.5-ounce pouches of Sprout Organics Sweet Potato, Apple and Spinach.

The product was sold mainly at Walgreens and some independent stores across the South between September 2024 and December 2024.

No other Sprout Organics products are affected.

You can return the product to the store for a full refund.

So far, no illnesses have been reported.
