A Farmington Hills police officer is facing criminal sexual conduct charges for allegedly assaulting a Farmington Hills police cadet this past June.
Michael Rybinski, 31, of Wixom, is charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct for an alleged assault on June 16 outside the workplace. The alleged victim reported the incident the next day, according to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.
Rybinski is on administrative leave, according to the Farmington Hills Police Department.
As reported by the prosecutor’s office, the alleged victim said Rybinski had called her for a ride, stating he was drunk, and then tried to kiss and grope her while they were in the car together “despite repeated demands that he stop.”
