HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - Two people who were wanted by the Hattiesburg Police Department on charges of false pretense have turned themselves in to authorities.
According to HPD Public Information Officer Tate Rutland, Jerry Skipper and Erica Barnes turned themselves in to authorities and are cooperating with authorities. The warrants out for their arrests have been recalled.
At this time, HPD still has an active arrest warrant out for Seminary “Carlos” Barnes.
According to HPD, the suspects engaged in fraudulent activity involving Automated Clearing House deposits conducted through accounts with Keesler Federal Credit Union.
