DALLAS — Since flooding devastated Central Texas during the July 4 weekend, donors across the country have raised more than $800,000 for the TEGNA Texas Flood Relief Fund.

The Fund, which was set up in partnership with the Communities Foundation of Texas by WFAA and its parent company, TEGNA, will donate 100% of proceeds to non-profit organizations providing direct relief to people impacted by floods in Kerr County and the surrounding areas. Communities Foundation of Texas has committed to covering fees typically associated with the administration of a charitable fund so that all dollars donated will benefit people affected by the floods.
