DALLAS — The TEGNA Texas Flood Relief Fund, in partnership with Communities Foundation of Texas , will grant $800,000 to three organizations providing direct support to areas in Central Texas devastated by flooding during the July 4 weekend.

TEGNA, this station's parent company, and its portfolio of newsrooms across Texas, began raising money immediately after the flash flooding happened. Through a grant application process, organizations identified how dollars would support their flood relief efforts. Organizations receiving grants committed to using 100% of funds for direct flood relief.

The three organizations receiving grants are:
