Three men have been arrested in Chattanooga for robbing a man outside his home in the East Lake area.
An affidavit acquired by Local 3 News states that a man was robbed at gunpoint by two men on 7th Avenue in Chattanooga early Tuesday morning. The victim told police that there were two other men in the car that pulled up next to him.
It happened when the victim was trying to unlock the gate to get into his driveway. As he walked toward the gate, two men in ski masks and hoodies approached and pointed guns at him.
The two armed men forced the victim to give them his wallet. The affidavit said the victim threw his keys over the locked gate to avoid giving them to the suspects, but they then jumped the fence.
The victim said one of the suspects also searched through his car.
