Since New York state added Class AAA for boys soccer two seasons ago, Fairport has proven a notch above its competition. The two-time defending Section V champions haven't dropped from their perch just yet.

The Red Raiders open as New York state's No. 1 team in Class AAA, in the first state rankings of the season published by the New York State Sportswriters Association.
