BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) -- A woman from Raleigh County pleaded guilty to a drug crime that involved fentanyl.
According to a press release from the United States Department of Justice, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, 42-year-old Leann Marie Keyes, of Beckley, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute fentanyl.
The press release stated that according to statements made in court, Keyes and another person planned to sell drugs in and around southern West Virginia between October 2024 and January 2025. As part of the guilty plea, Keyes revealed that she and 36-year-old Justin Scott Keyes, her husband and co-conspirator, sold 12.34 grams of fentanyl to a confidential informant four different times during that time frame.
