NORTH CODORUS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) - At least two officers are in serious condition after a shooting in southern Pennsylvania. Additional details are limited, but several elected officials, including Governor Josh Shapiro, have confirmed they are traveling to the scene.
Authorities initially said that two people were in "serious condition," but WellSpan York Hospital has since confirmed to Nexstar's WHTM that it is treating at least two officers. WellSpan York Hospital said enhanced security protocols are in place.
The York County Coroner's Office confirmed they have also responded to the incident, an indication that there is at least one death.
