GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Downtown Greensboro Incorporated just dropped its GSO35: Downtown in a Decade plan.

It's a plan to turn recent economic momentum from large announcements like JetZero and Toyota into 5,000 new people, 3,000 new jobs, over 100 new or expanded ground floor businesses, 12 million yearly visits and $1 billion in private investment dollars.

The plan maps some of those first moves for growth on Church Street in downtown.

It’s identified in the plan as a catalyst and launchpad for the growth DGI wants to deliver.

Businesses on and around Church Street shared their thoughts on the plan.
