OMAHA, Neb. —

As the Terminal Expansion Project continues at Omaha's Eppley Airfield, KETV took a behind-the-scenes tour of the ongoing overhaul construction efforts.

The project will overhaul the current north and south terminals, extending the south terminal and adding a new central concourse, with an estimated completion in 2027. An additional terminal with the capacity to hold two international gates will replace the north concourse in 2028.

"It will house a new security checkpoint, new concession space, a new baggage system. Really be, again, a centerpiece of the travel experience here at the airport," Omaha Airport Authority Chief Strategist Steve McCoy said.
