ARLINGTON, Va. (DC News Now) -- A firefighter was taken to the hospital after a house fire broke out in Arlington on Wednesday evening.

The Arlington County Fire and EMS Department said crews responded to a home in the 1100 block of N Stuart St.

The fire was located in the attic of a single-family home, and it was extinguished.

The occupants of the home were not hurt, but one firefighter was treated and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
