CARROLLTON, Ga. — Four teens were indicted for allegedly shooting and killing a man after a confrontation about a gun during an attempted armed robbery back in July.
Tyrone Boykin, 46, was found lying in the yard of a nearby residence on Magnolia Street in Carrollton, shot in the chest, and was taken to the hospital, where he later died on July 18.
Warrants allege the teens confronted Boykin on Magnolia Street about a stolen firearm. Detectives said the confrontation escalated, and shots rang out. Boykin collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
