A 40-year-old man who was stabbed to death during a disturbance in Fitchburg Tuesday morning has been identified as Fitchburg resident Ronald Perceval, according to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.

Brockton resident Charles Ednerson was arrested in Brockton later on Tuesday in connection with Perceval’s death, the district attorney’s office said previously. He pleaded not guilty to charges of armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon during his arraignment in Fitchburg District Court on Wednesday, according to court records.
