GREENVILLE, S.C. —

A medical mystery surrounding the grandson of a beloved South Carolina musician has gained the attention of many. The 1-year-old boy suffered a cardiac arrest and is now at Prisma Hospital unable to eat or swallow.

Chris Crowe is known throughout the Carolinas and beyond as a member of the Swingin' Medallions. Lately, it's his role of a grandfather that has his fans sending up prayers and offering support for 1 year old Weston Crowe.

"They got to the E.R., they started to check his vitals, pricked his finger, took some blood, and he completely coded. He flatlined right there on the table," Chris said.

Weston's family says the miraculous 45 min CPR done at Self Regional Hospital saved his life and soon after he was airlifted to Prisma.
