LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A new restaurant is coming to Nicholasville. However, this is not just any ordinary restaurant.

It’s a Ukrainian-cuisine restaurant.

The owner says she wants to introduce authentic Ukrainian food to the area. Nicholasville is home to a large Ukrainian community.

A new restaurant coming soon to downtown Nicholasville will offer a menu that promises to transport your taste buds across the world.

At ‘The Taste of Ukraine,’ people will get to experience authentic dishes such as borscht and varenyky.

Owner and native Ukrainian Tetiana Soloschuk says the restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Besides offering authentic Ukrainian food, Soloschuk will offer coffee and tea.
