LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Very warm and dry conditions will persist for the rest of the work week into the weekend before changes slowly take over.

Lots of sunshine will be with us to start the day today, with a few clouds arriving in the afternoon. It will be another very warm day today with highs of 85-90 degrees. A few clouds will be around for the evening before clearing out overnight. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Friday will be a very similar day to Thursday, as we see lots of sunshine again to start the day. A few clouds arrive again in the afternoon as it will be a hot one with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Partly cloudy skies will be around for the evening and overnight with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
