BERWICK, Pa. — One hundred volunteers in Columbia County are packing more than 15,000 meals for families facing hunger.

The volunteers are gathering at Bethany Church in Berwick, in partnership with "Rise Against Hunger."

It caps off a season of service in memory of a longtime church member, who was affectionately known as the "Go to It Man."

Bethany Church member Angel Kishbaugh says, "When he passed away, a dear friend said, 'What are we gonna do now?' He was the guy you go to. So we said alright, we're gonna go to it. We have to go to it, and now we have to step forward and be like Chris did."

Organizers at the church in Berwick say the meals will go to people in need worldwide.
