CASTLETON-ON-HUDSON, NY (NEWS10) -- The #2 ranked Maple Hill Wildcats Boys Soccer team beat the #11 ranked Cairo-Durham Mustangs 1-0 in a battle between two of the best team in the state in Class C. Both sides entered the matchup unbeaten, with the Wildcats taking the narrow win at home.

Maple Hill was on the attack early, creating multiple chances but Cairo-Durham keeper, Jacob Young, was able to keep the Wildcats off the board. Perhaps the best chance in the first half was off a free kick, while the initial cross was handled, the second chance for Maple Hill was on target, but defender, Nick Olivett, made the save with a header.
