TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - At least two people were killed in a crash on Interstate 19 southbound on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Arizona DPS said it was a two-vehicle accident, while the Drexel Heights Fire District reported that four vehicles were involved.
The accident happened on I-19 near Pima Mine Road around 12 p.m. All southbound lanes were closed until 4:30 p.m.
The DHFD said six people were taken to the hospital.
There was a secondary accident near KP-84 on the I-19 northbound, but the DHFD said it did not cause any closures.
