DOLLAR BAY — The Jeffers Jets volleyball team earned a four-set win over the Dollar Bay-Tamarack City Blue Bolts Tuesday evening. The Jets won the first two sets, 25-23 and 25-16, before dropping the third set, 23-25, and bouncing back with a 25-23 fourth set.

The Jets were led offensively by Mia Norstrom, who racked up 13 kills, and Kylee Andrews, added eight kills.

Mindy Hillstrom led the Jets had 14 assists.

Panthers need five sets to defeat Purple Hornets

CHASSELL — The Chassell Panthers volleyball team found themselves behind early against the L’Anse Purple Hornets, but won the final two sets to earn a match win at home in five sets, 11-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-17, and 15-12.

For Chassell, Sylvia Aho had 26 assists and 13 digs to help drive both the defense and the offsense.
