EL CENTRO — The Imperial County Board of Supervisors (BOS) approved a four-month agreement with Clifford Moss LLC on Tuesday, September 16, for assessment, research, election feasibility, strategy, and strategic planning services regarding the County’s current public safety facility needs, including new construction, repairs, and renovation of existing facilities. The agreement will be carried out through the end of the year and will use $130,000 from the General Fund.

Imperial County Sheriff Fred Miramontes indicated the need for the agreement to address a long-overdue update to the County’s public safety facility needs. Voters must approve a bond measure for the funding to become available for the public safety facility updates and construction.
