ROSSVILLE, Tenn. — The Mid-South Balloon Festival will take place Sept. 20-21 in Rossville, marking the event’s return with a new name and location.
Formerly the Collierville Balloon Festival, the event has been rebranded to reflect its growing appeal across the Mid-South region.
Festival activities will include more than 20 hot air balloons, live entertainment, food, arts and crafts vendors, and carnival rides.
Proceeds from the festival will support local education programs, organizers said.
Each day will feature a mass balloon ascension at sunrise. Festival grounds open at 3 p.m., with admission required. Attendees can also purchase tethered balloon rides. Evenings will conclude with a balloon glow, weather permitting.
