LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Thursday is another day with hot and dry conditions in the forecast, but some spotty rain may be in sight in the coming days.

Plenty of sunshine is expected today with highs near 90 degrees by the afternoon.

Overnight will be another comfortable one, with low temperatures in the mid-to-upper 50s and low 60s under mostly clear skies.

By Sunday, we begin to introduce the chance for an isolated shower or storm with spotty storm chances into next week.

Currently, the best chance for rain appears to be the middle and end of next week. This is still far out, but The Weather Authority will continue to monitor this trend.
