Well folks, as we continue through this Thursday, we're still feeling the significant impacts of this prolonged heat wave here in the Evansville area. We've been watching temperatures consistently push into the 90s, and even flirting with the mid-90s today, which marks us as significantly hotter than what's seasonally normal for this time of year.

The good news is that some changes are on the horizon, though we need to temper our excitement a bit. While chances for showers and thunderstorms begin to creep into the forecast, starting with some light chances tonight and into Friday, they aren't expected to bring widespread, appreciable relief just yet.
