DISCUSSION: As high temperatures climb into the 90s once again this afternoon, an isolated rain chance will remain across East Texas. Slightly higher rain chance will exist on Friday before decreasing into the weekend. By early next week, scattered showers and storms are expected just in time for the first official day of fall (Monday). Beneficial rainfall and slightly lower temperatures are likely early next week.
