Ford is issuing a recall of more than 100,000 vehicles due to a dangerous malfunction that may increase the risk of injury during a crash.

Approximately 100,900 vehicles are included in the recall, which affects certain 2024-206 Ford Rangers .

According to the recall notice , affected vehicles fail to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety standards due to faulty airbags that may tear or rip during deployment.

Vehicles included in the recall contain side curtain airbags which may come in contact with another part of the vehicle when they deploy, causing the bags to tear.
