MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A suspect is in custody after he reportedly broke into a Mesa apartment early Wednesday morning and stabbed a mom and her two daughters.

Lowell Tucker Dorn, 22, faces multiple felony charges related to the stabbing at an apartment complex near Dobson and Broadway roads .

Dorn reportedly broke into an apartment unit just before 5 a.m., then attacked and stabbed a 16-year-old girl. When the girl fled to a friend’s home to call for help, the suspect then stabbed the mother and an 18-year-old daughter.

All three stabbing victims are expected to recover from their injuries, police said on Wednesday.

Police said there is no known connection between Dorn and the family.
