SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) -- If you were out and about around 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning, then there's a chance you saw a bright object flying through the sky. No, it wasn't an U.F.O.

It was the latest SpaceX launch its Falcon 9 rocket carrying 28 Starlink satellites into a low Earth orbit.

The Energy Savers' SkyNET 9 camera from the Rosamond Gifford Zoo that looks out over downtown Syracuse captured the rocket flying by! When you watch the video below, at around 4 seconds you'll see a bright object appear on the left and fly to the upper middle part of the video, then followed by a stunning sunrise!

The bright "star" rising just before sunrise is the planet Venus.

NewsChannel 9 received a few photos and videos from our viewers.

Robert Scales captured this photo just south of Dryden.
