SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Ballinger Police Department reported that a store that had been open for 120 years and that recently closed was burglarized.

On Sept. 17, Ballinger police were called to Higginbotham Brothers in reference to a burglary. An officer was able to find video of the suspect and his vehicle. Once identified, a warrant was issued, and the suspect and the stolen items were recovered within 12 hours of the call, according to a social media post from the department.

"Great work to all officers involved and thank you citizen who was able to give us video of the suspect," said Balinger Police Department.
