SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The San Angelo Police Department is set to hold a press conference during the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 23, to discuss ongoing investigations after two shootings occurred over the weekend.

The conference is set to begin at 10 a.m. in the City Council Chambers. A live stream of the conference will be available for viewing in the video player above once it begins.

The conference comes after two shootings occurred on Saturday, Sept. 20, and Sunday, Sept. 21.

Sept. 20 shooting

In an initial statement issued on Sept. 21, the SAPD reported that officers were dispatched to the area of 9th Street and Chadbourne Street at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 20 in reference to a shooting victim.
