2 women found dead inside Spring apartment after neighbor notices large number of flies

SPRING, Texas – Authorities say two women were found dead inside an apartment in Spring after a neighbor called law enforcement concerned after seeing a large number of flies in the area.

The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office said it happened at the Windsong Village Apartments in the 2900 block of Hirschfield Road.

Officials say deputies received a check welfare call from the concerned neighbor after the neighbor saw a large number of flies inside an apartment unit.

When deputies entered the apartment, they found the two women dead inside.

An active investigation is underway.
