Several crashes are shutting down major roadways across the Colorado Springs-area Thursday morning.

Two crashes have happened in north Colorado Springs, and another wreck occurred near Fountain.

Headed northbound on Interstate 25 between U.S. 85 and Exit 132 (Mesa Ridge Parkway) in Security-Widefield, a multi-vehicle crash has shut down the roadway as of 9:22 a.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation website.

Traffic cams show cars being diverted onto the Santa Fe Avenue exit. At least a 21-minute delay is expected in the area, according to the transportation department.

There is no expected timeline for when the roadway will reopen.
