HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A lawsuit filed by the former West Virginia State Police Superintendent has been dismissed, according to Judge Richard Lindsay’s office.
The lawsuit was filed by former WVSP Superintendent Jan Cahill.
The judge’s office said the case was dismissed without prejudice.
A reason was not given for why it was dismissed, Judge Lindsay’s office said.
Cahill’s time as WVSP Superintendent saw allegations of wrongdoing back in 2023.
