BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - Court records outlining the charges levied against a former Monroe County auxiliary deputy say he had four firearms in his car when he was busted for driving under the influence.

Tuesday, Monroe County Sheriff Tommy Jones said his office had fired 28-year-old Jared Fowler after he picked up a driving under the influence charge in Blount County. Fowler’s affidavit claims he wasn’t just charged with driving while intoxicated, but with having guns while under the influence as well.
