A Republican lawmaker has claimed that the FBI possesses the names of clients linked to the late Jeffrey Epstein, including a billionaire from Canada. Rep. Thomas Massie made this assertion during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday. He urged FBI Director Kash Patel to disclose more documents related to the investigation of Epstein, who was known for his involvement in sex trafficking.
Massie, who represents Kentucky, stated that the FBI has identified at least 20 individuals he alleges were clients of Epstein. This group reportedly includes high-profile entertainers, a Hollywood producer, a banker, and others.
During the hearing, Patel responded to Massie's claims by asserting that there is no official list of Epstein's clients. He emphasized that he has released all information that he is legally permitted to share.
Massie's office has not yet provided a comment regarding the allegations. The FBI National Press Office also declined to comment on the matter.
The controversy surrounding Epstein continues to attract attention, particularly as it has implications for various public figures, including former President Donald Trump. Trump has previously characterized the ongoing discussions about Epstein as a Democratic hoax.
