The Texas Department of Public Safety is looking for t he suspect in the August fatal shooting of an 18-year-old in Lubbock and is offering a reward.
On Thursday, TxDPS added 23-year-old Kendrick Kevon Taylor – who state authorities say is a known Crips gang member who was out on parole – to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List.
This comes after Lubbock police issued a call for help to the public in locating Taylor in early September who is "considered armed and dangerous."
This stems from a warrant for Taylor charging him with murder in the death of Lawrence Brantley in the 1900 block of 44th Street on Aug. 18.
According to LPD, Taylor —who also goes by "Skrilla" — is described as a 5'8" Black male who has brown eyes and weighs 180 pounds.
