The leader of Nottinghamshire County Council, Mick Barton of Reform UK

You might have heard we are currently banned by Nottinghamshire County Council - there’s been a little bit of publicity around it.

We’re doing all we can publicly and privately to try and fight this, with one of our most most powerful weapons being of course being this very platform that Reform would love to silence.

Today I bring you the news that Reform councillors - when faced with a motion at full council to debate how they had banned us - filibustered to take the time up to the end of the meeting , then voted down a motion to extend the meeting so it could be discussed.

The bare-faced cheek of their tactics against us is probably something I should have expected. But it doesn’t make it any eas
