QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — A Maricopa County grand jury has indicted the worker of a Queen Creek group home for sexually abusing a minor.

Christopher Allen, 48, has been charged with two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, a Class 2 felony, after a 17-year-old came forward with allegations earlier this month.

The Maricopa County Attorney's Office said Allen was a "coach counselor" at a group home serving girls who have been victims of abuse.

Court records show investigators reviewed video footage that allegedly showed Allen and a juvenile resident of the group home entering a closet and remaining inside for a few minutes. When questioned by police about the video footage, Allen reportedly denied having sexual contact with the juvenile, records show.
