HAMILTON, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Severe illnesses are being reported across Texas linked to adulterated weight loss drugs that were sold in Hamilton.

These drugs, which the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says are "dangerous, adulterated drugs purported as weight loss drugs", were sold at Texas Coffee on Main Street in Hamilton, Texas.

Consumers in Hamilton and adjacent counties have been hospitalized after experiencing the following violent symptoms after ingesting the drugs: uncontrolled vomiting, severe abdominal pain, severe nausea, and other severe symptoms.

Texas Coffee owner Erika Bedell is accused of selling these "illicit substances" to multiple consumers across Texas and possibly even the nation, due to online sales.
