SNYDER, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - 16 individuals were arrested during six separate search warrant executions that took place during a large-scale narcotics operation in Snyder Thursday morning.

The Snyder Police Department confirms these individuals were taken into custody on charges related to manufacturing and distributing narcotics, firearms violations, and more.

Member of the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Scurry County Sheriff's Office, the Sweetwater Police Department, the Snyder Fire Department, and Scurry County EMS all assisted in the search warrant executions.

Many of the warrants were executed in homes around Snyder. KTAB and KRBC were at the scene of one of the search warrant executions and arrests on Avenue
