TRAVERSE CITY — The City of Traverse City’s contractor will begin paving Eleventh Street the week of Sept. 22 as part of ongoing reconstruction work.

Per a Sept. 18 news release, the project is now expected to be substantially completed on Friday, Sept. 26, weather permitting.

During paving, intermittent closures will occur at Union and Eleventh Street and Cass and Eleventh Street. Barricades and signage will be in place to guide motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians.

City officials said the construction will generate dust, noise and inconvenience. Questions or concerns about the work or schedule can be directed to Zach Cole at (231) 922-4492.
