Theft: Bagley Drive

A Coalton, Ohio, woman, 51, was cited at about 11 p.m. Sept. 5 after she stole a beer stein during Oktoberfest at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds off Bagley Drive.

According to the victim, a second woman -- later identified as a 30-year-old Parma resident -- had approached the beer stein booth.

She distracted the victim while the Coalton woman and a third woman both grabbed beer steins and ran away in different directions.

The victim chased the Coalton woman, caught up with her and took back the beer stein.

Then the victim found a police officer patrolling the event and pointed out the Coalton woman and the Parma woman.
