HAMILTON, Texas — Hamilton County police are investigating reports of severe illnesses linked to allegedly adulterated weight-loss drugs sold at Texas Coffee, a local business at 400 E. Main, Ste. C.

The products, reportedly sold by shop owner Erika Bedell, have caused multiple consumers to experience violent symptoms, including uncontrolled vomiting, severe abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness and confusion, leading to emergency room visits and hospital admissions across several hospitals.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone who has consumed the substances to seek immediate medical attention if symptoms appear. Authorities also advise discarding or turning in any unused products and not sharing or reselling them.
