A 51-year-old woman is in serious condition after being struck by a car on Wednesday afternoon at a bus stop in Kaimuki.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene at about 3:10 p.m. Wednesday near 2705 Kaimuki Ave., which is the address for Kaimuki High School. The woman was reportedly struck by a driver who lost control of his vehicle, possibly due to a medical condition.

Paramedics treated the woman for unspecified injuries and took her to a hospital in serious condition. Paramedics also treated the 68-year-old driver for unspecified injuries and took him to a hospital in stable condition.
