Hundreds of jobs are coming to the Lehigh Valley as B. Braun announced plans to expand and modernize its Allentown facility.
B. Braun, a global medical device manufacturer, announced plans Monday to invest $20 million in expanding and modernizing its Allentown facility, a project expected to create 200 new full-time jobs over the next three years while retaining more than 1,700 existing positions.
B. Braun, which has operated in the Lehigh Valley for more than four decades, manufactures more than 2,400 medical devices and products in Lehigh County and has its U.S. headquarters in Bethlehem.
According to a press release, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth is supporting the project with $1.5 million in state funding, including a $1 million Pennsylvania First grant and $500,000 for workforce
