(FOX40.COM) — Multiple Micro-Communities for seniors are making their way to Sacramento in an effort to address the city's homeless crisis, according to the City of Sacramento.

The city's Department of Community Response Director, Brian Pedro, reported updates of various projects to the city council on Tuesday, with the micro-communities receiving the most attention.

“The City has made major progress toward providing safe shelter and connections to supportive services, but there are still many people in our community who need a safe place to stay," Pedro said.
