Some of the largest brown bears reside at Brooks River in Katmai National Park, Alaska, according to explore.org.

During Fat Bear Week, the public can celebrate the success of brown bears gaining weight to prepare for winter hibernation with the annual tournament.

The single elimination tournament matches up bears that the public will have a chance to vote for, the website said.

The bear with the most votes goes to the next round.
