MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A felon is facing gun and drug charges after deputies received a tip that he may be in possession of illegal drugs, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.

WCSD responded to a home in the 4100 block of Old Smithville Road after they received a tip that the resident, Terry Brian McCormick, may be in possession of illegal drugs.

When officers arrived, they spoke with McCormick and searched his home.

During the search, deputies found:

Two bags of methamphetamine

A sawed-off Remington shotgun with two rounds attached

Two marijuana grow tents equipped with lights and containing multiple plants believed to be marijuana

Pipes, grinders, plates and baggies
